Religion - 7th Grade (Confirmation 1st Year)

This course will focus on Lutheran doctrine that will begin to prepare 7th graders to be confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church.  Non-Lutherans and those not wishing to be confirmed will gain more of an understanding of basic Christian doctrine.

Additional activities will include weekly Memory quizzes, occasional Object Lessons. 

We will discuss differences between Lutheranism and other Christian denominations/Religions from time to time. Emphasis will be on why we as Lutherans believe what we believe.  Criticism of those who are not affiliated with the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod will not be a part of this course.
