Fun-filled Field Trips

St. John's Preschool children have the opportunity to participate in field trips throughout the year.  While all of our field trips are fun, many of them extend our learning.  From visits to community workplaces such as the post office and grocery stores to adventures in science learning at SciWorks and farms to language development and social learning at the Children's Theatre, preschool children participate in experiences that last a lifetime.

St. John's first priority is the safety of our children.  Parents are welcome to drive their own child on field trips.  Children may also be transported on our vans driven by trained drivers 21 years old and older.  Two adults travel on each van.  Children ride in a parent-provided car or booster seat.  Children are checked on the vans before departure from school and departure from the field trip site.  Children are checked off the van at arrival to the field trip site and arrival back at school.  State regulations are followed to assure the safety of all children.
