Lutheran Retirement Home Residents
Christmas.
We will again be giving gifts to the
residents of our own Lutheran Home here in Winston-Salem.
We will choose names at our November meeting and then purchase a
gift or two to brighten their Christmas. If you want to
participate in sharing God's love in this way, come to our
meeting and pick a name for yourself or contact Dot Cleary to
receive one. These gifts will be delivered after our
Christmas Party.
Our thanks to Nancy Genevie and Kay
Moose for some tasty refreshments on Oct. 12. Ruth Becker
and Debra Kitzman will be treating us on Nov. 9th at 7 PM.
Women In Mission meet every second
Monday evening most months of the school year. The one
exception is our Christmas Party which will take to the road and
travel up to Mount Airy December 13th, 2:15 PM. Many will
be carpooling from the church.
Visitor's are always welcome to our
group and encouraged to join us for fellowship and the Word.
Shhhhh. Remember your 'secret
prayers' ladies!
