My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Pastor James O. Murr has been lead by the Holy Spirit to accept our divine call to be our next pastor and shepherd to the Gospel of Jesus Christ as we go forward in ministry to each other and to our community in Winston-Salem

Pastor Murr's installation service is scheduled for Sunday, October 4th at 4 PM at St. John's.  His first worship with us as our new pastor will be Sunday, October 11th.  Praise God for all His wonderful blessings and plans for us. 

Many will be at Camp Linn Haven that weekend he will first lead services, including myself, but he and his family are going to stay Friday and Saturday up at camp to have fellowship with us then.  He will come down the mountain after our Saturday evening devotions which I hope he will lead. 

Exciting times,! indeed.  The Lord's will be done as He leads us to His work. Pray for him and his family as they prepare to be with us the first of October in their move. Pastor Murr's last Sunday at Concordia will be September 28th, and he will be coming into town later that week.
